Erde lockable trailer hardtops are very popular even though they can be expensive. Hardtops are usually bought by customers who use their trailer for camping or transporting valuable goods.

Good features of an Erde hardtop include:

• Robust watertight shell
• Increase volume of your trailer by approx 40%-60% (dependant on model)
• Hinges on front end allowing good access from rear
• Locking catches on the rear
• Easily removed if required (only on newer models)
• Gas ram to hold the top open whilst in use

Bad features of an Erde hardtop:

• All locks have the same key
• Can be expensive
• Cannot be fitted to a trailer with a ladder rack
• Poor fitting instructions Supplied
